KuralVerse ("the App") is a Tamil literature app that lets you explore the Thirukkural — 1330 couplets of timeless wisdom. The App is fully offline and does not require an account, login, or any personal information to function.
2. Information We Collect
KuralVerse does not collect any personal information. Specifically:
- No name, email, or contact information
- No location data
- No browsing or usage history sent to any server
- No biometric data
- No advertising identifiers
Everything you create in the App is stored only on your device and is never transmitted anywhere: an optional profile (a display name and a profile photo you choose), your bookmarks, your read/seen history, and your preferences (such as language, author, theme, and font size). The optional profile is held in encrypted on-device storage.
3. App Permissions
KuralVerse runs entirely offline and does not require internet access after installation. It requests only the minimal permissions below, all used on-device.

KuralVerse is suitable for all ages. Since no personal data is collected, the App is fully compliant with children's privacy requirements (COPPA and similar regulations).
6. Policy Updates
If this Privacy Policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
